The club aims to support and encourage people who are looking to get involved in the world of Triathlon and training is done in a fun, friendly, enjoyable, and supportive environment.

The club caters for all abilities and levels of fitness regardless of whether you are starting out on your journey as a beginner triathlete, all the way through to more experienced athletes who are already involved in the sport.  We pride ourselves as being an inclusive club.

Our training will help you work towards your first Super Sprint Triathlon all the way through to Ironman and the club will always welcome new athletes with open arms.  We want to encourage anyone who is keen to get involved in Triathlon even if you have never done anything like it before.

Our training sessions will consist of 1 Swim Session, 1 Bike Session and 2 Run Sessions per week (once a month we have a track run session).

Sessions are subject to change from time to time depending on weather conditions.

Training days are Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.   All sessions will be coached under the supervision of Stephen Bassett who is a Welsh Triathlon Level 2 Diploma qualified Coach, Aaron Davies and Clare Hughes who are all Welsh Triathlon Level 2 Coaches.

Anthony Isaac, Evan John, Alun Wood, Laura Butcher and Caroline Rees are Qualified Welsh Triathlon Level 1 Coaches.

We encourage ALL members to sign up to the Welsh Triathlon Membership to ensure they are covered for training and during races. All details can be given from a Club committee member.

One of Inclusivity and Enjoyment.  We want to help people get the most out of the sport, but have fun in the process. The training sessions are inclusive and for all abilities no matter what your fitness levels.

Also, regarding the training sessions there may be a charge for the swim sessions and Indoor bike spin sessions. We have also teamed up with Pen-y-bont Fitness in Brynmenyn for Strength and Conditioning classes and we are in discussions for future classes. We also like to reward our eager members by putting them through the Welsh Triathlon Activators course and then onto the Level 1 Triathlon Course.

Our Facebook group will also be a great way to meet new members and share your experience and stories with everyone. If you feel this is something that you may want to get involved in, then please send any of the committee members or the Facebook Page a personal message where we will discuss membership and any other Information you may require. You can also email the Club at pybtc2018@outlook.com for further details.

We look forward to welcoming you to a great club.
