Training Schedule.

Wednesday

Running track sessions on first Wednesday of every month

Wednesday.

Technical Run Sessions to improve our Overall Fitness, Posture and Running Ability. These Sessions will be at Various Locations with a 6:30pm Start.  

Friday.

Club Swim Sessions at Pencoed Pool 7:15-8:15pm. All Swimmers MUST be able to swim 100m Non Stop. The cost of the Swim Session is £5 per person. These Sessions are a Maximum of 36 Swimmers as we have whole pool.

Saturday.

Club Ride starting from Bridgend Technology Park opposite the Heronston Hotel, Ewenny. We are allowed to use the Heronston Hotel to park our Cars only. Timings are subject to the weather and the seasons changing. There are 5 Different Cycling Abilities, with Coaches and Activators in each Group. The Groups are based on Average MPH, which is Pumas, Tigers, Jaguars, Leopards and Lions so there are plenty of groups available to you. Brick Sessions are also included. Also last Saturday of every Month is a Club Coffee Ride all together to various coffee shops. We encourage members to ride in the correct group of ability and pace to make the rides more enjoyable for all. Any advice on choosing the correct group should be taken up by the coaches.

Sunday.

Club Run. Starting points will vary depending on the Appointed Coach making the Routes. There will always be 2-3 Routes available for all Abilities and Level of Runners with Coaches and Activators available. The Distances will be anything from 5K – 20K+. Also alternating each Sunday will be a Trail Run for all abilities starting at various locations every other week.   There is also a Sunday Bimble Ride for all Abilities no matter your Cycling Level.  This will also start from Heronston Hotel, Ewenny at 08:30am

Club Sessions.

Open Water Swimming April – September when Tide Times are in our Favour. Due to a recent change with British Triathlon, we are no longer able to class sea swims as an open water swim so we are very limited to offering coached sea swims to our members.

One of Inclusivity and Enjoyment.  We want to help people get the most out of the sport, but have fun in the process. The training sessions are inclusive and for all abilities no matter what your fitness levels.

 

Also, regarding the training sessions there may be a charge for the swim sessions and Indoor bike spin sessions. We have also teamed up with Pen-y-bont Fitness in Brynmenyn for Strength and Conditioning classes and we are in discussions for future classes. We also like to reward our eager members by putting them through the Welsh Triathlon Activators course and then onto the Level 1 Triathlon Course.

Our Facebook group will also be a great way to meet new members and share your experience and stories with everyone.
